Text card and carousel maker

Create social media cards from plain text

Paste a quote, thread, essay, or article link. Cards turns it into polished slides with smart splitting and social presets, then exports them as images or renders the whole deck as a video.

Core editor, image export, and the motion preview are free. No AI rewriting. The export matches the preview.

How It Works

Three simple steps to turn long text into a complete social carousel.

01

Paste Your Text

Add a quote, thread, mini-essay, or slide outline. Cards keeps your writing editable while you shape the carousel.

02

Choose Format & Style

Pick Instagram, LinkedIn, X, or Stories, then choose a visual template and adjust typography, colors, and spacing.

03

Export & Share

Use automatic or manual slide breaks, preview every card, then download the image set or render the deck as a video.

From a draft to a carousel

A focused editor that turns your text into a set of cards. Here it is, working.

Your text

Small launches teach faster than perfect plans. Ship the rough version, watch what lands, and refine from there instead of polishing in private. --- Keep one clear thought per slide, all the way to the end.

Your slides

The first two slides split automatically. The --- starts a third.
Try it

Smart slide splitting

Turn long text into a readable carousel while keeping paragraphs and line breaks tidy.

Render the deck as a video

Twelve motion presets turn the same slides into an MP4 for Reels and TikTok. The preview plays in the editor for free; Pro renders the file.

Collage layouts

Merge a run of cards into one composition. Six grid layouts are free; diagonal, diamond, chevron, wave, and arch come with Pro.

Paste an article link

Cards fetches the article, keeps its headings, quotes, and lists, and hands you a carousel draft to trim. Included in Pro. Smart split runs on Markdown you paste yourself, for free.

How URL import works

Preview-matched export

Download JPEG or PNG images that match the editor, including spacing, colors, and typography.

Social presets built in

Create text cards for Instagram, Stories, LinkedIn, X, and other visual posts.

Save when you need it

Export without an account, or sign in when you want to keep projects and return to them later.

One text, two formats that perform

Video gets your post in front of new people. Carousels earn more saves from the audience you have. Cards makes both from one draft.

The same draft, as a video

Pick one of twelve motion presets and the carousel becomes a video for Reels and TikTok, up to 30 seconds. The render runs on our servers and comes back as an MP4, so no video editor is involved.

What plays here is the preview built into the editor, running the same composition the renderer uses. Watching it costs nothing. Rendering the file is part of Pro.

Make text cards for every social workflow

Turn quotes, threads, notes, and long-form ideas into clean images for the places your audience already reads.

Export-ready social media sizes

Pick the canvas first, then choose a template. Cards keeps your layout consistent across formats so a post, story, or carousel can ship from the same draft. Video renders at the canvas you picked, which makes Stories the one that goes straight to Reels and TikTok.

Design once, then adapt the same idea for the format your post needs.

How Cards started

Cards began with a personal need. I write fantasy, and posting short stories to Instagram meant turning long text into clean slides. Doing that by hand in a design tool was slow, so I wrote a script that split the text and drew the cards on its own. Enough people asked for the same thing that I turned it into Cards, a small tool from Tiny Gods.
