The watermark is the catch
Taplio's standalone carousel maker is free and needs no plan. Every slide carries a “Made with taplio.com/carousel” mark, and the only way to remove it is an active Taplio subscription, which starts at $39 a month. So the free tool is a lead magnet for the suite. Cards puts no mark on exports, free or paid.
LinkedIn only, or every feed
Taplio builds PDFs at 1080×1080 or 1080×1350, the two shapes LinkedIn documents use. That is the right output for that one network. Cards exports five canvases: Instagram square and portrait, Story and Reels at 1080×1920, LinkedIn at 1200×627, and X at 1600×900. With Pro it re-splits the same text for every canvas and hands back one ZIP.
The trade runs the other way on documents. Cards has no PDF export, so a LinkedIn document carousel means building the PDF from the exported images yourself.
